Through evidence appraisal and synthesis, we found out a lot about out topic. We discovered that there was a correlation between a mother’s low socioeconomic status and her development of postpartum depression. We found that mother’s that had a lower socioeconomic status were more at risk for developing postpartum depression mostly because of their lack of resources. Our literature did not change our assumptions on the topic. We had assumed that women with lower socioeconomic status’ were going to be more at risk for developing the postpartum depression. My team members and I did arrive at the same findings and we all agreed with the results. We did not have any disagreements on the findings, thankfully. It was pretty easy for us to collaborate with each other since we all live in the same house and do most of our work together.
