Learning Outcomes 5 and 6

Even before taking this english class, I was familiar with how to properly cite MLA sources in text and on the works cited page. It was something that I have been doing all throughout high school. So, coming into this class I have already had previous experience with citations. However, I am not a perfect writer and I found myself making small mistakes throughout the course of the semester. When citing something in text, I would sometimes forget where to put the period. If it was after the quote was done or if it was after the last parentheses after I cited the quote. However, this was an easy fix and now, I am confident on how to properly cite my sources using an MLA format. With local revisions, I don’t usually have too many problems with those. I’d like to say that I have pretty good grammar and don’t usually have a lot of those kind of errors. Sometimes I do have run on sentences, which are an easy fix. I do believe that I have even more knowledge on how to properly address my errors in my papers now, though because we have been working on the for the whole semester.
