Nurse’s play an important role in ethical conduct and research implementation. My understanding of this has somewhat changed because I learned that nurses play an important role in the ethical conduct and implementation. Before, I assumed that nurses have played a role in implementation and contribution to the research. Nurse’s care about their patients and they want the best outcomes for them. By staying up to date on the latest EBP and helping to integrate these practices into their patient care is so important. Knowing the history of the principles of research ethics is important for the nurse because they need to know what has gone wrong and why. If the nurse is not knowledgeable about the past, they will not be able to give their patients the care that they deserve. My achievement of the course objectives has helped me as a future nurse in many ways. I now know how important EBP is to nursing. This will continue to be something that I learn about throughout my whole career as a nurse because there will always be room for improvement when taking care of my patients.
