I think that from the topic proposal to the end of the project, we will accomplish it by working together as a group. We will have to do a lot of research and spend a lot of time trying to learn our clinical floor and how it can help us to understand our topic better. Communication wise, I believe that my team will be great at that. We have already had an easy time communicating with each other whether it is through text or zoom. I think that is our plan for the future as well. It is hard to find time to all meet in person, so communicating over zoom seems like it will be beneficial to us. We will hold people in our team accountable for their task completion by separating different tasks for people to do. I think that this will work out for us because if one part of the project is not completed, then you cannot move on without it. If they do not complete their work then, the professor will have to be notified as they should not be receiving the same grade as the rest of the group.
We might come across some barriers as a big group throughout this group project. Group projects are hard, as not everyone may work well with other people or they might not be doing work to the best of their ability. I think another barrier that we might find is difficult to overcome is finding time to all talk together. Even though all of us have the same class schedule, people might not be able to all meet at the same time. We will overcome these barriers by communicating with each other and figuring it out together as a team. I think that this project will benefit me as a future nurse because we are researching nurse to nurse bedside reporting. This will help us become better and find ways to communicate with not only the other nurses better, but the patients as well.
